jordans 2018 effort with Playstation on Paul George’s second signature sneaker arrived on Nike SNKRS on February 10th and sold out in a matter of seconds. Due to its exclusivity and unique look, it is currently garnering a resale value between $500-$700 USD. Just about an hour ago, Nike NYC reported that the PG 2 “Playstation” will be releasing again at Nike SoHo via an in-store drawing during store hours. The Swoosh knows that this is a sure-fire way to get customers inside its retail space as opposed to sitting on their couch or at their desk at work and trying their luck on the SNKRS app or another platform. At the moment, it is unclear if other Nike locations will be doing the same, but keep it locked to Sneaker News for updates as they become available. After an epic launch in collaboration with Sony Playstation, the Nike PG 2 is now available in an almost endless number of combinations thanks to NIKEiD. Currently, the NIKEiD PG 2 is limited to basic team colors and speckled midsoles, but it’s enough to create some unique spins on Paul George’s signature shoe – like this simple Lakers themed colorway that we quickly cooked up.Were it not for an unfortunate injury to DeMarcus Cousins, Paul George might’ve been spending his time during All-Star Weekend in his hometown in Palmdale, CA.
Nike Air Jordan 2017 will be playing in the mid-season classic in place of Boogie and he’ll be debuting his new signature shoe in a new “All-Star” colorway in a striking grey/orange colorway with five purple PG logos on each heel to represent his All-Star Game appearances. The Nike PG 2 “All-Star” is set to drop on February 15th alongside the rest of Nike’s All-Star kicks. The last Nike PG 2 to drop was for Mamba Day and it’s next colorway is introduced with this Taurus edition. The style is one of its iterations for the 2018 NBA Playoffs, and it’s covered in a black, white and solar red theme. Just like the nickname says, the shoe is inspired by the Taurus zodiac sign since Paul George’s birthday is on May 2nd. Finally, a white midsole and icy translucent outsole completes the design altogether. As we get closer and closer to the beginning of the playoffs, Paul George and the Oklahoma City Thunder are still looking to lock in their spot in the NBA Playoffs. If they do then we can surely expect Paul to wear some new fire colorways of the Nike PG 2. In the meantime we bring you an official look at the Pure Platinum colorway which comes covered in the light shade of grey all throughout the mesh upper along with Neo Turquoise and Aurora Green accents on the midfoot, inner liner, and branding. An icy blue translucent outsole with the PG logo in blue wrap things up.
Best Jordans 2018 have that Mamba Mentality – that ferocity to win at all costs. The OKC Thunder’s Paul George has been marked with this killer instinct, and Nike is ready to recognize that tenacity with the PG 2 “Mamba Mentality” edition that features a colorway and design inspired by some of the more notable Nike Kobe relaeses of the past. This PG 2 features a similar colorway as the “Chaos” edition, whereas the illustrations on the heel are similar to the Kobe 6 Prelude – only for Paul George you’ll see images of fish and and chess, nods to his favorite hobbies. See the first look here and stay tuned for the release on Mamba Day, April 13th.Nike has been making a concerted effort to increase its GS production recently, made evident by the recently dropped “Safari” pack that remixed three Nike staples with the attractive print. Serving as a remixed version of the classic “Safari” print, the Swoosh employs the design on the new PG 2 silhouette in kids friendly colors. Neo Turquoise and blue catch the eye on this particular offering, while the spotted safari design comes into play on the subdued wolf grey panelling.
